Bacem Houimli

Electronics Engineer, Bacem Houimli also holds a Master's degree in Computer Science and currently serves as a Project Manager at CIDCO. With over 15 years of experience in hydrography and underwater inspection technologies, Mr. Houimli began his career in the offshore industry, where he held various roles, progressing from hydrographer to project manager and party chief. He has gained extensive expertise in managing complex subsea projects, including the installation of subsea structures, the installation and monitoring of platforms, pipeline laying surveillance, and offshore drilling assistance. He also has solid experience in operating and piloting remotely operated vehicles (ROVs) and autonomous underwater vehicles (AUVs). He obtained his diploma in piloting and maintenance of ROV systems from Global marine, in England in 2008, and has work experience in Africa, Europe and Canada.

Since 2020, Mr. Houimli has also been involved as an instructor in the CIDCO's hydrographic surveying program, sharing his knowledge and experience with the next generation of professionals.
